Surinder Martignetti

Surinder holds a BA in Dance and Theater and a Graduate Diploma in Education from Western Sydney University in Australia. She also holds a Masters Degree in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from Columbia College Chicago. Surinder has deep knowledge of the Chicago dance, performing arts and museum fields and has served as part of See Chicago Dance in various program management capacities for over 10 years.

She has experience in Project and Production Management, Artistic practice, Education, Grant writing, Accounting, and through Connect the Dots, Surinder mentors and facilitates conversations with artists of all disciplines to aid them in taking the next step in their career or project. She has worked with artists of all disciplines.

Along with her life as an arts administrator and mentor, she is a dancer, jewelry maker, poet, and storyteller and also performs under the alias Miss Mittens.

As a multicultural female leader, Surinder strives to empower others through open communication, transparent integrity, and a passionate commitment to diversity, access, equity, and inclusion.

Frank Konrath

Frank Konrath holds a BA/BS in Communications / Business Administration from Northeastern Illinois University. Frank is a transmedia producer; developing story worlds for multi-platform and multi-medium storytelling.  He is also an indie film & podcast producer, cinematographer, and editor (video, photo, and sound).  Frank has spent the past 8 years researching and developing new methods of storytelling; applying new media styles to benefit creators of all backgrounds. 

Frank produces a podcast named “Story World Explorers”, where he and his brother speak with transmedia industry thought leaders, creatives with passion projects, and corporate brands.  They create a writers room environment to develop ideas and bring knowledge of transmedia storytelling to their guests. These discussions have been a fantastic mental exercise and research tool helping to sharpen his creativity and expand his knowledge base.  

Frank is a forward thinker, perpetual optimist, and firm believer that every artist has an audience for their work.
